Elijah Cup

The purpose of the Elijah Cup, a blessed chalice, is to provide a focal point for prayer, particularly for an increase in vocations to the priesthood. At the conclusion of each Sunday Mass, the celebrant will receive the Elijah cup from the family/individual who has been praying and give it to the one(s) who will be asked to pray for vocations in the next week. The Elijah cup should be put in a place of honor in the home.
